Application for General Customs Value Declaration

To facilitate this process, we suggest that you fill in the attached customs value declaration form to ensure that all necessary information about your shipments is included. Processing time may be longer if information is missing, and our advice is to apply for a general customs value declaration for smoother customs handling.

Recurring importers can apply for a general customs value declaration, regardless of whether the customs declaration follows the old or new legislation. This application can be made using the same form as for a regular customs value declaration, marked as "General." Submit the form to the Swedish Customs, which will respond with a decision and a reference number to use in the import declaration.

The general customs value declaration is valid as long as the commercial conditions remain the same. In case of changes in the conditions, submit a new application and use the new reference number in the import declaration.

To ensure efficient and hassle-free customs handling, it is crucial to stay informed about these new requirements and implement them in your import process.

Swedish Customs:

"By signing and submitting this declaration, the declarant assumes responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the information on this form and on any additional sheets submitted together with it, as well as for the authenticity of each document presented in support of this information.

The declarant also undertakes responsibility for providing any additional information or documents necessary to establish the customs value of the goods."
